Games
Number of players: all team members may participate if they choose
The playing field will be set with a small garbage can on one end and players on the other end. The clock will be set for two minutes. Players will take turns each crumpling up pieces of printer paper into a ball and throwing shots into the garbage can. Each player will attempt two throws to get their papers into the garbage can and then go to the back of the line. Player may get a second turn if time allows. The team with the most paper balls in the garbage can wins gold, second and third get silver and bronze. A sudden-death throw off will be used for tie breakers.
Number of players: all team members may participate if they choose
The playing field will be set with a pyramid of lightweight plastic cups on one end and players on the other end. Players will take turns flinging heavy-duty rubber bands at the cup pyramid. Each player will shoot one rubber band and move to the back of the line. Players may get a second turn if they pyramid hasn’t been knocked down yet. The first team to knock all cups down wins gold, second and third get silver and bronze.
Number of players: all team members may participate if they choose
The playing field will be set with small garbage cans on one end and players on the other end. Each participant will use a fork/flat spoon (still working on the logistics) and will use it to carry an “egg” (a plastic egg filled with slime) to the garbage can and drop it in. If the “egg” falls before going into the garbage can, the player must go to the back of the line and the next player takes their turn. Players may get a second turn if needed. First team to get six eggs in the garbage can wins gold, second and third get silver and bronze.
Number of players: team will select one player to participate in this game
Players will place an inflated balloon between their legs and walk/run/hop to one end of the room and back. If the balloon falls or pops, the player must go back to the starting line and start over. First player to go there and back wins gold, second and third get silver and bronze.
Number of players: team will select two players to participate in this game
One player from each team will be given a plastic Fezzy coin. On the count of three, players will spin their coins on a table. The first person whose coin falls will be eliminated. We’ll have elimination rounds until a gold, silver and bronze winner is determined. We’ll repeat the same game with the second player chosen from each team – gold silver and bronze will be won from that group.
Number of players: all team members may participate if they choose
The field will be set with one player from each team on one end – these players will each be wearing a paper chef’s hat. The other players will line up at the other end of the field. Players will take turns attempting to toss ping pong balls into the opening at the top of their teammate’s chef’s hat. The “chef” may either remain stationary or move to attempt to catch the ping pong ball. The first team to make five ping pong balls into the chef’s hat wins, second and third will get silver and bronze.
Number of players: team will select two players to participate in this game
The field will be set with a garbage can set on its side at one end of the room. At the other end, players will have a broom and a whiffle ball. Two players from each team will individually see how many shots it takes to get the ball into the garbage can. We’ll add up the two teammates scores. The twosome with the lowest combined score will win. Second and third lowest will get silver and bronze. If there’s a tie, teams will play a best-ball style playoff.
Number of players: team will select two players to participate in this game
Two players from one team will be matched up with two players from another team to compete against each other. Players from the same team will be stationed on the same side of the table with the other teams’ players on the other side. Players use paper plates to fan a ping pong ball across the other player’s goal line (off the table). The first team to get three points wins. This will be repeated with two match ups from each team. All winners will receive gold medals.
